The lymph node on my ribs

Their hard, even the ones on the bend of my arms, the only place that showed cancer on the PET scan are the right 60mm armpit. I saw on my test I have 2 nodules on my thyroid, they didn't tell me though. I'm hoping, when they remove the cancerous lymph node the other will go away. (FROG) I don't know how he thinks all the other swollen nodes is not associated with the cancerous one. He said I could wait 6 months. And have another scan before I have it taken out. I'm not waiting for it to spread!!
I don't understand either, other then I have heard of people having to watch and wait.. thank you and please keep me updated. and as always you have already been prayed for this morning, and remember many are praying for you...and we all care....
I could understand if it was watch and wait, but they haven't even diagnosed me yet other than saying that lymph node is the only one showing cancer. It's very confusing. And the oncologist, says when I ask. ( Let's not get ahead of ourselves) yes, I want ahead of it, I want the shit out of me!! He can procrastinate when it's him that has cancer
I was told by 3 doctors to watch and wait and overtime my lymphoma progressed to a stage 2. Its your body and your life if you feel like you want to get it taken out now, do so, do not wait on them to make the call. If they don't want to listen then you go get a second opinion from another doctor if you haven't done so already. I've learned that some doctors are only good at treating versus diagnosing cancer. Best wishes hun!
Oh and Gail I too have 5 goiter's on my thyroid, they did aspiration of two and not cancer.. he wanted to remove them but the chemo treatment I went thru reduced them in size. so we are just watching them. that chemo treatment sure does a lot... I am in remission and so thankful I have a good Doctor and cancer unit care...
GOSH GAIL I WOULDN'T WAIT EITHER. YOU WILL BE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. I WILL BE WATCHING FOR YOUR POST. GOOD LUCK GAIL.
Prayers for everyone that are going through trying times and know we all care about each other and look forward to giving support.
Gail, have they told you what type of lymphoma you have? I ask because I wasn't told until I figured it out myself and asked my oncologist. Different policies with different doctors...
Poor you Gail I know how you feel you just want to get answers and get on with treatment which I must say I did but it is very very scary not knowing what is going on in your body. Praying for you Gail and everyone else out there who is going through this nightmare
In my thought and prayers Gail
Thank you, and your in my prayers too
