Dietary Supplements
Calcium, Vitamin D, Multi-Vitamin taken daily. I take them because of my age more than anything. Not really cancer related.
Yes, calcium 600 mg, vitamin D31000 mg, fish oil 1000 mg twice daily, senior multi-vitamin, magnesium w/zinc 500 mg, aspirin 81 mg, glucosamine/chondroitin (1500 mg/1200 mg) twice daily, garlic 1000 mg, zyrtec 10 mg. I am 72 and take these OTC vitamins for general health.
I take kelp for iodine, fish oils, vit D3 (at the rda as they don't do testing where I live and private blood testing is not yet available either); two x 250mg of Vit C.; I also take a small amount of magnesium (175mg) as It helps me sleep. Maybe I should be adding zinc?
In Canada you can get a calcium, magnesium and zinc tablet combined (Jamieson brand) and I take that plus D 2000, E 800, a multi for over 50, and wild salmon fish oil. Usually vital,. C, too. Dr. Also recommends aspirin 8 mg. I had flu shots and 2 pneumonia shots and haven't got a cold or flu in over a year.
Ive read that iodine is a natural cure for lymphoma by several people...but no one will confirm this..but I do add iodine to my list of vitamins....what the hell.
