Welcome Caren! I am also FNHL patient diagnosed two years ago at age 59 and a volunteer with this community. I am currently on watch & wait. Congratulations on the imminent completion of your treatment. There are other members here who may have been through a similar treatment regime, so please feel free to share your experiences when you are ready. This is a fairly new community but new members are joining every week and I hope you find it a helpful and friendly place to come.
It has been 6 1/2 years since I did treatment for defused large B cell l also have FNHL.
I am doing really good now, prayer helped me so much and still does l also have a very good support team my family.
I still find I it hard to move past the cancer there is not a day that I don't think about it, but I'm trying.
Good luck and may god bless you.
Marjorie
Hi Marjorie, I often think that this illness is as much a mental as a physical challenge. It's very encouraging to hear from someone who has come through treatment and is doing well. I wish you and Caren continued good health.
Good for you....hopefully it will be the last....think that it will and it will be.
Since most fNHL patients progress, you should be researching your next treatment. About 75% of fNHL patients who receive CAR-T have long duration complete remissions. Here is a great blog for fNHL CAR-T patients or those considering CAR-T: fnhlben.wordpress.com/
