Hi,

Watach & wait is absolutely the best position to be in, though it is perfectly understandable that you will be a bi frightened or worried about it. Do share your fears with your doctor but especially your clinical nurse specialist. In my experience it is the CNS who understands you have a life to live outside of the clinical environment and wil give you every support to get on and enjoy it.
This is maybe a time to review and improve your nutrition and diet and your exercise regimes, as well as think about mindfulness and relaxing therapies, to give yourself the best health you can and be in control of your health and life as much as you can.
I've had NHL for 7 years now.
Welcome jfeser123. I have been a member of this great CCL group for more than a year. I am caregiver for my 69 year old wife who has follicular lymphoma Grade 2 Stage 4. She has had 5 cancer treatments in 5 years: R-CHOP, BR, Ibrutinib, Idelalisib/rituximab, and CAR-T. She progressed with the first 4 treatments, and has been in complete remission for 6 months following CAR-T infusion in March 2016. I've learned a lot of great things from this great news group, and contributed several things that I hope were useful to this group.
Hi, jfeser, I'm also on w&w. I felt quite fearful at times too. I found that the best way for me to deal with it was to find a physical activity that I enjoy (in my case swimming - but it could be anything from yoga to running etc.) and do it as often as I can. Also I've done a couple of basic online courses in nutrition to help me eat a healthier diet. Apart from the NHL I'm probably healthier than I've ever been Lots of healthy treats keep me positive too. I try to be good to myself as well as others.
I understand the feeling. I was diagnosed in Sept 2015 with Non Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma Stage 3 on Watch & Wait. Found out totally by accident.
I know it is scary and overwhelming. Having confidence in your doctor counts for a lot. I have follicular also. It is a cancer that moves very slowly, so watch and wait can be a good thing.
