my 2 year old tosses and turns all night long causing alarms all night long along with low drain volume.. We don’t want to have it replaced or repositioned until we have tried everything so any tips would be awesome

Hello! I'm so sorry about the alarms it definitely can be exhausting. Do you notice what side they are sleeping on when they get a low drain? If the catheter is sitting more on one side or the other & they sleep opposite the low drain is inevitable. Have they at least checked that the catheter is in the right place? That's a simple US & fairly quick. I know we had a major issue & we couldn't avoid the repositioning surgery it ended up not being so bad (despite us parents having a hard time with the decision). We still get the low drain alarms randomly but not like before. We simply turn our little guy to the other side in his sleep if it happens which seems to do the trick. Hope things get better!
