I know what it’s like to have doctors and nurses and so and so telling you you’ll get there and at the time you really just can’t see it but let me tell you as someone who’s out the other side you really will!!
Just got back from the hospital and my kidney function is 65% and my new kidney is doing amazing
Finally seeing a glimpse of the end of the road

Thank you! I needed to hear that today. It has been such a long wait and time of uncertainty. On good days I can be patient; on days when I don’t feel good, it feels like the wait is endless.
I am a nervous wreck currently because I might have a donor approved, but am afraid to get my hopes up. The team is doing their final look at all the data tomorrow and then we should know if we can go forward and schedule.
While this is good news, now I am having lots of fear because the transplant might actually happen. Emotions can be so strange!
