Hello everyone! I want to confirm something before taking the booster vaccine, Pfizer. The reason, why I'm on the edge about this, is that I was tested positive 10 days ago and my booster is scheduled for next week. Thankfully, I'm more than okay because no symptoms showed (guessing as to the result of the vaccination). Does anyone have some idea on what to do?

Do I still go for a booster dose?
You can contact the CDC for conformation but as long as your quarantine is over and you're Asymptomatic then you can get the booster shot.
Well, if the test was reliable and you did have Covid you should probably wait. Actually, I thought I had Covid and my Pharmacist told me to wait a month before getting the booster. It wasn't Covid, just something I picked up at a doctor appointment. I did have the booster and having no issues with the first two vaccinations, I received the booster and it literally knocked me on my rear for 3 days. I don't know why, but it really kicked my rear. Maybe because I was ill or something. Who knows. Everyone is different.
I think this is a question for your GP or perhaps your transplant department.
Everything I read — especially on the Free Covid Tests being distributed by Medicare (THIS PROGRAM ENDS MAY 11, 2023), the results of these tests can create a false positive or false negative! What to believe anymore?
I get a little skeptical when our current gov’t gets involved (Dr Fauci?) in anything. I believe these free test kits are only being given away for free because they are overstock from both COVID programs funded by the government during Trump and Biden administrations.
And, BTW, I also heard that it may be advisable to switch different manufacturers (i.e. go from Pfizer to Moderna) on the boosters.
