Hi guys,

New to this site. Received my kidney about 5 years ago. Had a rejection occur, about 2 years ago, where they "rebooted" my system, yeah that was fun. I'm currently 46 yrs old, and praying that this lasts many more years to come. Has anyone had any experience using energy supplements or exercise supplements after transplant? (such as Whey Protein, etc.) Hard to get straight answers from docs.....let me know if i can be of help to any of you...

Best to you,

Bob

had a transplant in 2012. had 3 rejections until 2013. ok since then. I take coq10, vitamin d, magnesium, & vitamin c. I follow dr. Atkins low carb approach & it worked very well for me through 2/12 yrs dialysis & transplant. only eat good complex carbs, no simple carbs & protein. GOOD LUCK!!
