What is a donor card? Do these exist? What do you do with them?

I don't believe there is a card you get. If you in the United States and want to register to be an organ donor, you may find out more here: donatelife.net/.

If you are interested in being a living donor, you may contact the transplant centers in your area to ask about the possibility of a donation. You will need to speak with a "Kidney Transplant Coordinator", who will provide you with more information and help you begin the evaluation process to become a donor.

To find a transplant center in your area in the U.S., visit: optn.transplant.hrsa.gov/me....

Select “Transplant Centers by Organ” under Member Type, then “Kidney" under Organ Type, and then select your state.

For general information on living donation, visit: kidney.org/atoz/content/liv...
