My feet have been swollen for two months now. Since I was having problems with my blood pressure and my doctor switch my meds my blood pressure is excellent now, but my feet are swollen all the time, What can I do to get my feet back? It hurts to walk now. My doctor had me on furosidmide once a day, now he says take it twice daily. My feet aren't back to normal yet. What should I do?

Does the blood pressure medicine you're taking cause swollen feet as a potential side effect of the medicine? If you're not sure, your pharmacist will be able to let you know.

It’s mighty funny that it didn’t start until I got on this medicine. But the doctor won’t change it. He’s changed it twice and this is making my blood pressure perfect.
Well, I'd definitely check to see if swollen feet are a potential side effect of the medication. If so, I'd have a serious discussion with my doctor about this, especially if it was interfering with my ability to do moderate exercise on a daily basis. Are there other options? if not, is there something else we can do to deal with the swollen feet? Dietary changes? Other lifestyle changes? Other medications (for me a last resort most usually but still sometimes needed
