Washington, DC for NKF Summits. Make sure your tech does not take too much fluid off. Get an understanding before they hook you up. You are your own best advocate.

For HHD. Make a list. Contact NxStage travel dept. yourself, do not rely on clinic.

I was on PD I traveled from Ontario to Montreal I brought my machine and all the supplies,it was a 7 hour drive I stoped at a hotel half way,did my dialyses overnight I slept,ate and bathed,then continued on my way,my exspearance was take your time and most important WASH AND SANITIZE YOUR HANDS OFTEN! Trust me I got and abdominal infection was sick for a month in hospital for 8 days had sergers to remove my line that’s where the bactary was hiding! I switched over to hemo after that!but a year later I had to fly to NF for a funeral this tie I registered at a dialyses centre and went for treatment after the funeral, smartest decision I ever made🙏🙏🙏z

I went to Maui in Aug for a week with my daughter and her family, We were so blessed the dialysis center only at the end of street. Before I went I had to take a chest x ray within 30 days and sent it to them and my kidney center sent them my blood tests results and paperworks that they required. I brought adequate meds and my blood pressure monitor. I was well prepared and we had a good time there, Praise the Lord.
