What gives you strength?
Question of the week.: What gives you... - Kidney Dialysis
Question of the week.
Undoubtedly my children give me the will to carry on. I will do anything for them. In doing so, from the strength I gain in keeping them healthy, I build on that by continually helping others. It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to see I can make a difference in other people's lives too.
My advocate friends!
My support system! I have been so very lucky to have support from my medical team, friends and family. They're always there to hold me accountable when I need it, and cheer me on when the going gets tough! I don't know where I'd be without them and I'm thankful to be going through this journey with them!
Acceptance.
My faith in Jesus and God the Father allows me peace while I go through this period of my life,
God.
My family
What I've already gone through gives me strength. Knowing if I can get through that, I can get through whatever comes my way.
Knowing that whatever is happening, will pass.
God.
My faith in God. My husband and care partner is my greatest cheerleader. He helps to keep me on positive footing on blue days. I thank God I have stayed well these 11 years on HHD. Just retired this spring. Now looking for a way to help others get through it.
Also cannot say enough about the wonderful medical team I have had over the years. They have been exceptional.
Comedy, my beagle (Papito), nephew/family, friends, Wim Hof /Rickson Gracie breathing exercises, healthy diet, meditation/prayer, nature/water...
the power of positive thinking and guts and determination, plus the support of my family and the dialysis staff
