I haven’t tried it but my friend swears by Lume deodorant that can be put anywhere on the body. I think it has to be purchased online

They also recently started showing up in our Targets. I am in Minnesota so I don't know if they are in Target nationwide or just here. Both Target and Lume are MN companies.

Are you certain his odor is due to toxins in between dialysis? Ýou want to help him? Are you close friends? Does he discuss the odor you smell from him with you? It could be a myriad of other things. Either way it's a very personal issue to address with someone you've just met? Personally never smelled any specific odor from dialysis patients. I've been around a lot in 21 years. You could be taking on some heroic type role that is really misplaced.

Unless he comes to you personally instead of say a significant other like a Parent, close friend, doctor clinic tech or nurse, I would rather err on side of caution and not approach the issue. As dialysis patients we already have a lot to deal with. For you to address this to someone you just met may be the reverse of trying to help. JMHO
