I want to thank those who recommended shower chairs when I started having my balance and near fainting episodes.
I got my spa stool which is such a great help. I may upgrade one day as needed.
However, as you know, when the Dr. told me to wear compression socks for CKD edema, I had to wear prints with animals and various colorful patterns and holiday prints, no plain white or beige.
I decided no white institutional shower chair for me either. I found waterproof stickers on Ebay and Amazon and decorated my shower chair. I think I've only just begun decorating. I got kitty stickers to start.
Does anyone care to enter the Shower Chair Decorating Challenge? There is no prize, having a fun chair will be your reward LOL!!

Shoot, I might just have to go buy me one so I can join in the challenge. i don't need one now but we never know what's around the corner. Sophie, I admire your ability to make oranges out of orange juice.
Thanks, I appreciate that. You're welcome to decorate your favorite bar stool, recliner, or lawn chair to enter in the challenge LOL
I didn't think I would need a shower chair for another 15 - 20 years, but I'm not too proud to get one. I'd hate to be blacked out in the shower with a squad of hunky firemen coming to rescue me. I'd like to get dressed up first!!
On my Dr.'s advice I also got one of those medical alarms this week "Help, I've fallen, and I can't get up". I swear I will think of something less cliche to say if I ever push my alarm. I got the wrist alarm rather than the necklace. It's plain old white. You know I will get some waterproof fabric markers and decorate the heck out of it LOL
I have an aversion to plain things for some reason.
You're on, I accept that challenge. I have cats, dogs, raccoon, fox, butterflies, zebra, giraffe, bunny, horse, candy cane (those are the ones I almost had to cut off), reindeer, valentine hearts, squirrels, colorful zig-zags, and cupcakes. I bet I'm forgetting some LOL
I have on my pink compression socks with French Bulldogs today. My latest favorites are ones with a blue background and donkeys all over them with the word "smart" over each donkey (think of another word for donkey and they are funny compression socks LOL). I also just ordered one pair on Amazon that is footless to try out for when the weather warms up.
What compression socks do you have in your collection?
I have ones with witches and fruit and all sorts of stuff. I have to dig some out and see if I can get a picture of at least one of them. They were so ugly I loved them until I wore them. The design is not printed but actually embroidered and the threads are heavy on the inside of the socks so that when you take them off, it leaves an imprint.
Here's some you must have. They are personalized. You upload a pic of your pet, grandkids, whatever you like and they print them on a pair of compression socks.
My kitty Henry is going to be on a pair very soon!!!!
That sounds like a lot of fun. I just got my Medical Alarm wrist band today. Plain white like a nurses watch. I am going to get some waterproof markers or fabric pens and color it and make a design on it. I must have fun stuff, nothing plain for me.
What fun to decorate a toilet seat. You got me there!!! I did turn an old toilet into a planter in the yard once, and an old claw foot bathtub into an outdoor pond with lilies and goldfish.
I'm in for the sock challenge. I don't have a lot but my favorite ones are black with red lips on them. They are my fav because the toes fit perfectly. I have 2 that are aqua with green cactus, 2 that are black with different colored hearts. A pink pair with yellow circles but think they are supposed to be pineapples. A black pair with different colored stars on them. A white pair with zig zag lines that look like a EKG graph.
