Found this yesterday and want to share it. I have no limitations with my labs so I'm good to go, but it may cause problems for those with potassium. I don't eat frozen food often, but i ike to keep a few around when fatigue takes over. Will try to post 2 pictures. Only allowed to post one. Will try a 2nd post.
New lean Cuisine : Found this yesterday and... - Kidney Disease
New lean Cuisine
Trying to add nutritional value of lean Cuisine.
Holy smokes, look at the sodium..... not really a good choice when you see the serving size. I went on Youtube and there are only 5 raviolis in there. Processed foods are never good for you. You would do better to buy frozen hand-made ones from a pasta shop. That's a lot of potassium for one SMALL serving of food.
Thanks for your comments. I monitor my sodium and potassium and both of these levels on this item are within the margins for my daily limits. I did note in my post that some might encounter with the potassium. I ate one for lunch and it was delicious. Most Lean Cuisines are not that tasty I didn't count the ravioli, but there were enough for me. I'm into trying to lose a few pounds so I'm not into volume eating. Take care and enjoy the holidays.
Not the lowest in sodium yet I am surprised by the ingredients list. Thanks for posting this, I need to stack a few of meal like this for "emergencies" of my own making.
Thanks for your reply. I shared it for just those emergencies that pop up. There are days either at lunch or dinner when I'm very tired or simply unmotivated to whip up a meal. Several months ago, someone provides a list of Leak Cuisine dinners that were about 600 mg of sodium each as suggestions for some "once in awhile" dinners. I just wanted to add to that list.
You noted that you were surprised at the ingredients. Can I ask why? I really didn't look into it and want to know if I missed anything.
Again thanks for your comments and hope you have an enjoyable holiday and most importantly a happy and healthy New Year.
Many "low sodium", healthy choice prepared foods even soups do use potassium chloride in place of sodium. For those needing to restrict potassium read labels carefully. Blessings
It's worrisome that they even do that in kitty food, maybe dog food too, I only have a kitty and read his labels. I rarely eat packaged/prepared food, but my kitty only eats canned food. He does love to have a few bites of my green beans, artichokes, and his favorite is asparagus!!! He's a vegetarian at heart.

A good reminder of just how high in sodium prepared foods are. I try to only eat organic "whole" foods. It's just as easy to put some fresh vegetable in the microwave and steam them, plus I can be in control of how much sodium, if any, that I add. A little quinoa and I've got a healthy nutritious meal.
BTW, I totally am with you on the frustration over not being able to post more than one photo in a threat. I don't understand that. I post some funny CKD related memes on occasion and have to make 5 or 6 posts instead of one to get in all the pics. Oh well.
Thanks. Happy Holidays
