My fiancé just started dialysis and he can barely do anything but sleep. Is this likely to improve?

This is fairly common. Think of it as trying to drive a car with 3 flat tires...tough, yes? He is likely anemic with low iron levels, again common. Most begin feeling better after a month or 3. May I suggest you get a book called Help! I Need Dialysis. It's like <$10 on Amazon. Also check out kidneyschool.org Blessings
