Lowering blood pressure

My knowledge is still limited but I will tell you how I lowered my BP. I am still taking the high blood pressure medication but my BP has been stable for many months. I switched to a vegetarian diet and lost weight. I ensure that I drink at least 1 and a half litres of water daily but do not overdo it. Exercise is also important but diet played a huge role in managing my BP.

Well done My mum's BP continues to be good at ~115/78, taken circa weekly. It was ok for 3 years without the 1 BP tablet she was on previously and following a nephrectomy. But better still (at least more stable) for past 5m following radical diet improvement incl lower carbs. Can only be due to that (unless nephrectomy helped for previous 3y?).
