My knowledge is still limited but I will tell you how I lowered my BP. I am still taking the high blood pressure medication but my BP has been stable for many months. In order to slow the progression of CKD you need to follow a kidney-friendly meal plan and a physician approved exercise regimen, as well as staying hydrated with water. Controlling underlying causes of CKD like diabetes and hypertension is also a major plus. It sure seems like you are doing what is necessary. How often are you running your own blood pressure monitoring at home? My cardiologist has me doing mine twice a day.Keep up the good work.

Well done My mum's BP continues to be good at ~115/78, taken circa weekly. It was ok for 3 years without the 1 BP tablet she was on previously and following a nephrectomy. But better still (at least more stable) for past 5m following radical diet improvement incl lower carbs. Can only be due to that (unless nephrectomy helped for previous 3y?).
