I received this in my inbox today and thought I'd share it with everyone here. The webinar is going to be held on the 18th of March from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time and 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Adjust accordingly for other time zones. Please stay safe.

I hope to attend this. My nephrologist cancelled my appt that day so I am super not happy. I had a ton of stuff I wanted to ask him.

Does he have a patient portal that you can submit your questions on? That's the best way to handle it right now. Also, see if his practice is set up for Tele-Med conferences and see if you can set one up. If so, select your most important questions for the conference and be ready when you connect. The portal is a way to get all of your questions asked and hopefully answered.

It's going to be a challenge for the upcoming future to meet with physicians who are dealing with the coronavirus crisis. There may be additional things to learn from the webinar. Hang in there. If you try to take notes during the webinar you can get overwhelmed. As each slide comes up on the screen, I take a screenshot and continue to listen. When the presentation is over I go back over the slides and make my notes. I have a lengthy file on the webinars I've watched. Just a thought for you to consider.

I believe I can ask questions on the doctor portal but it has been my experience it takes weeks to get an answer under even normal circumstances. I just had my labs done two weeks ago and all is stable and fine. I am supposed to reschedule but I am not really sure that is a good idea right now. I will have to wait and see how much worse it gets. I did sign up for the webinar. Thanks for the tips. I still have to go to work but my job is no longer any outside visitors and all staff are being screened daily. They have agreed to let me know ahead of time if we get any positive cases so I can make an informed decision. They did get proper PPE so I was thankful for that as well. It is nice to work for a company that cares about their patients and their staff.
