Recently was told by my gp that I have low kidney function, she said I have a gfr of 43 and it's been in a steady decline for almost a year unknown to me. Since then I am now struggling with seizures and my hypothyroidism is getting worse and I received a call this morning telling me I am now also having a problem with insulin resistance, along with that she said a lot of other things like chloride, b12,sodium,creatine and folic acid are being affected... and she got me an appointment for the end of oct with nephrology, by the way I am a 43 old female... really wish I knew what was happening cause I feel bad everyday and have for a few years... any suggestions would be great, thanks
