I always find with chocolates that once I have one then it's all down hill and I eat the whole box. I feel much happier if I don't touch them at all!

Same, especially when my family are all binging on chocolates or junk foods and my mouth starts watering.

I've made my siblings keep a close eye on me or all gang up on me and shout at me in support or just for lols to strengthen my will power to avoid sugar otherwise I'd never stop.

Hi Yvonnenanny1965,

Happy Birthday!!!! Hope you're having a wonderful time. Maybe limit your chocolates to one or two each day, to savour and enjoy?

Enjoy your Birthday meal and the party on Saturday too.

Happy birthday hope you're having fun!

I did what Lowcal recommends when I had some for my birthday. If you have the willpower just have a couple a night with a cuppa, I found I enjoyed them so much more than in the past where I've scoffed the lot. If you don't think you've got the will power then yes give them away to family and friends so you can't be tempted!

Enjoy your celebrations. :)

Happy 50th,

Have a great day and start again tomorrow, you only hit 50 once 💐

Happy Birthday 🎁🎈🎉. It doesn't hurt to eat a couple of birthday chocolates so long as you you log the calories. Enjoy the chocs and the rest of your birthday ☺

I am a teacher and was given loads of chocolate as thank you gifts at the end of term. They are piled up in the corner of the room winking at me! I keep giving them away. Visited my niece who has just had twins. She needs the calories to breastfeed 2 more boxes down....

Btw happy birthday!

Happy Birthday! If you can do it, then Lowcals suggestion is good! I can't trust myself to have any goodies in the house yet :) have a lovely dinner and party on Saturday!

Hope you managed to step away from the chocs !!!!!!!

If you didn't I hope you only ate a couple and this would have not been too bad.

Have a good day today

Give them away ids,the best thing. Same with biscuits when we've been given a tin I just take them into work and let me colleagues have them. If no bad stuff in the house then can't be tempted.

We gathered all the chocolates and took them to the grankids, not that we still buy some, my husband is not slimming.

This is another 4 year old post, san_ray. Be careful when looking at related posts, because most of them are years old.
