Hi, I have diabetes for many years now and to be frank it is not controlled. But, I would like to share an event which happened in 2015. I slipped and fractured my elbow. In 2007 I was involved in a car accident and my elbow was severely damaged so much that the doctor had to reconstruct it. My right hand is not completely functional even today and I have a metal piece in my elbow in my right hand. Now as I was fractured in 2015, I was treated at a hospital and after treatment, they referred me to a doctor who was good in managing diabetes as my levels were high. I was already on a set of medicines. But he insisted on a new set of medicines. I don't remember the names but after taking these medicines, I had a feeling whenever I walked bare feet that there is a layer which has been formed between my feet and the ground. I stopped taking these new medicines and stopped going to this doctor and switched back to my old medicines for diabetes.

But ever since that day I have this feeling of something under my feet (not the complete foot but some areas only) and the ground.

Is there a cure for this? Please advise.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
