Hi, Sorry your wife is having problems. There can be a lot of side effects, by the look of it, with Pregabulin. Have the doctors said there is an alternative maybe? Or could she be weaned off the full amount? How long ago did she have the aneurism and did she have surgery to repair it?

I had a burst aneurism and surgery through the scull. I struggled to walk and open my mouth for a few weeks, and got very tired easily, but after 8 months was well enough to do a gradual return to work (part time).

My short term memory is not good, like your wife, and my balance is also not good, but I’m not on any medication, so can’t give much advice on that side of it.

I was lucky that the surgery did the trick for me.

It sounds like you and your wife need more help and support from the medical experts and more info on the condition and treatment.

I hope you can get this help.

My subarachnoid haemorrhage happened 10 years ago now, and there was no aftercare offered. Luckily, I managed without it - I was lucky!
