Omeprazole and pregnancy

Just found out on Xmas eve I am pregnant doctor advised me to stop medication but never mentioned my omeprazole since Thursday night have had terrible pains in my stomach when I eat or drink is it safe to take my omeprazole during pregnancy dosage is only 20mg

In your first tri mester my doctor would not allow me to take any medicine unless I was very ill! I know some women take omeprazole later in pregnancy! Personally I have bad heart burn and just drink lots f milk and use an extra pillow at night. No harm in checking again with your doc

I got told to wean off them because it can affect the babies size
