Questions to ask for dating scan?

I am having my dating scan next friday. Can you all please help me with the questions i should ask for during the scan?

I didn't find I had many questions during my 12 week scan, it's not a very long scan, they do a few checks and then do the measurements for the downs syndrome testing if you've requested that but they don't really do much else in that first scan. They calculate your dates from the measurements. I'd say you're in there for less than 10 minutes and then they give you your photos and you're done. The 20 week scan is more in depth and takes about 40 minutes and they look at far more and there's more to see.

As mentioned 12 weeks scan is basically to check for heart beat/measure the dates and nuchal thickness for down syndrome testing and make sure there aren't twins. It will also all be written in the report

Hi when I had my nuchal scan the baby was in a position where the sonographer could not do the nuchal readings. However she had only attempted for less than 10 min and then told us we could not have this scan done. Since then we have been advised that she should have tried for at least 20-30mins before giving up (can be split into mini session). Please insist on getting it done. We were to naive and left and were offered a quad test which is not as realisable and offered at 16 weeks. I had my nuchal done privately in the end, but it's not cheap.
