Pregnancy

Me and my boyfriend have been together for four years and almost the entire relationship we never used any protection. I always got my period on time and we were never even suspicious that i can be pregnant. We were always glad that I never got pregnant because we arent just ready for a baby yet. But now we started wondering how come I never got pregnant. We have sex a lot, almost every day. And it's just really started bothering me how I never got pregnant. Does this mean that maybe one of us has some type of problem? Or is it possible that I just simply never got pregnant?

Have you tried speaking to your gp about this.... there are all sorts of test you and your partner can have to make sure everything is ok.

It could be that there is an issue (but I have heard of other people getting pregnant later). I guess what you do depends on whether you want any children and when. The tests are normally only done if you want to go on to have children as they are in preparation to be referred to a fertility clinic-they will ask for certain tests to be done within a certain timeframe of their treatment and their tests. There are also specific guidelines about who can be referred on the NHS- it is different in each area so your GP would have a better idea. Initial tests the GP may suggest are some blood tests and internal ultrasound for you and a sperm test for your partner.

Hi there, I have heard of this happening to a friend. They used to pull out and rely on that method. However years later when they wanted a baby she successfully became pregnant. Nonetheless if I were u I would go to the doctor just to check.
