I am currently 17 days late for my period. Usually normal 28 day cycles - never missed a period this long unless I was pregnant. I have a 9 year old daughter who is my only full term. I've miscarried 4 times. Twice before my daughter and twice after. I've had an ectopic pregnancy. So .. being pregnant again is always very scary for me.
I've taken 3 tests this time (but only when I was 9 days late) and they all came up negative. Frequently urinating, headaches , constantly tired, the smell of cooking oil and fish makes me sick. I'm only 27.
Should I take amother test?

You should try talking to your doctor and getting a blood test. I have 4 children my self and my two youngest wor premies my 5 year old daughter is going on 6 now and when I was pregnant with her I took so many test at the doctors and for them all to be negative I had 3 periods and one month kept going back to back to back to back appointments telling them I don't feel right the just kept testing me month goes by I say OK I'm not pregnant me and my husband had sex one of those nights and I literally was in the ground hurting so bad took the ambulance to the er to find out I was going on 5months pregnant and had gotten pregnant in Sept and it was jan I they gave me an ultrasound to confirm and blood test my hormones wor very low and not up to par to where my fetus said I should be in hormone levels said I had a miscarriage at sent me on my way since I am a big girl and they don't want to give me a pelvic ultrasound because I had been in so much pain they sent me home saying I could have or could be losing my baby and to contact my doctor well in a week I went in and every thing was fine no more pain no more periods No more negative test by that time the blood work and everything was great I had a son he is 4 and had no issues with his pregnancy and finding out besides with him I found at at 5wks and he ended up coming a month earlier then his due date but pregnancy was normal I think you should get a blood test done. With is the only way now I do it. Test tend to only had worked with my first baby my second I didn't even know had an appointment for something else and they just so happened to test me was a total surprise. So yes try blood work. Go to like an urgent care and just tell them what's going on it won't hurt and they can't turn you down. That's what I plan to do here very soon for myself as my husband and I are trying to concive . Good luck.
