Hi Everybody!

I am 33,I just find out I am pregnant( 3 weeks ).Do I have to go to GP now or should I wait till 6 weeks?I have headache now almost every day...

Pop to GP if you have any questions. Or call the surgery about making your first midwife appointment x

Depends on the area you live in. Some midwives are happy for self referral, so if you call the receptionist at the surgery they will tell you. I'd have a read of the NHS website re ante natal care, but unless you're on medication or have a medical condition you don't need to see your gp. Get started on Some prenatal vitamins too

U can wait till you are 7 weeks than consult your gynae, 3 weeks is far to early detect anything heartbeat also.

We are different here. We tell our GP when we find out we are pregnant then we have to see them to be referred to the midwife!
