what does braxton hicks feel like?

Im 26weeks and for the past few days the bottom of my bump has been tightening and going hard, but not in a painful way. Suspect some early braxton hick but unsure...can anyone shed any light on it for me? First time mum-to be and this is the furthest I've gotten in a pregnancy.

Sounds like Braxton hicks to me! I had them from about 25w! It's a really tight feeling, belly goes rock hard then it suddenly goes! I used to feel a really big wiggle from baby afterwards too! x

thank you just as I suspected. I get the same, mega movements from bubs after the sensation goes away. x

Yep I agree, definitely sounds like braxton hicks. I got them from 20 weeks. The further along you get, the more of your belly tightens. So bizarre but kinda cool at the same time

Yes sounds like braxton. It feels like your belly like a rock and then hard to breathe. I am 38 week and last weeks it gets more fruquent
