pain control
You could ask your GP to refer you to a pain clinic. I have no idea of the wait time for this, but in the meantime you could ask your GP for an alternative to your current pain relief. Sometimes it takes a combination of pain medications & gentle exercise to improve pain; I'm on a combination of 3. The NHS offer others services for pain, but I don't have experience of that. Here is a link about NHS services for pain:

I'm sorry to hear about the pain affecting your daily life due to Myositis. I understand how challenging it can be. In my experience, I've found relief through alternative methods like nutrition and homeopathy. They've helped me reduce the number of painkillers I take each day while managing my pain effectively. If you're open to exploring these options, I'm here to share what has worked for me. Remember, you're not alone in this journey, and the Myositis UK community is here to support you. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to know more.
Best wishes,
