You could ask your GP to refer you to a pain clinic. I have no idea of the wait time for this, but in the meantime you could ask your GP for an alternative to your current pain relief. Sometimes it takes a combination of pain medications & gentle exercise to improve pain; I'm on a combination of 3. The NHS offer others services for pain, but I don't have experience of that.
