I think Richard Pryor made a good point!

Right!? He hit the nail on the head describing it!

That is exactly the idiom that came to mind for me as well! ( I was thinking all the excitement from my hubby and son rebuilding our deck finally went to my head)😆

Thanks a bunch! It may take a few weekends to get it finished but it’s got a great start! I just cooked 3 meals for the crew🤗

That’s what I was thinking!

I've likened it to God giving you this, because you're the strongest person (at that time) to help him reach his quota. Why does he/she have a quota? Who is God's boss? Why are they having God reach a quota of diseases he has to give? (Most likely a "She." Look up the species of lizard who don't have males.)

Sorry, I'm agnostic. I'm ready to see, or not see, if there is a God when the time comes. Not to hurt anyone who is religious, but I think that the people at the start of MANY, DIFFERENT religions wanted to at least have an explanation to the world without the knowledge we have today. Sorry again.

Wow. Thats some new age thinking there! lol

I’m sorry you don’t believe. Very sorry

I looked for three years before ii found Bob. I was at my wits end looking for a cat. I kept checking the shelters for a kitten. I could never find one. I became extremely desperate for an animal. When I was at my wits end I prayed for help to find him. I know God heard my prayers and answered them. Out of the blue someone called and offered me a cat. And it was him! I believe God knew i needed him. I needed a kitten. I couldn’t have dogs anymore because I don’t think it’s fair I’d never be able to walk one. That’s when I started looking for a kitten. I believe God gave him to me. I needed an animal. I love animals and they bring great joy into my life, which is much needed especially dealing with the many disappointments MS would bring. God really is great! If it wasn’t for his help I don’t know if I’d still be here. This is a very extremely tough pill to swallow. I believe God knew I needed joy. So I acquired Bob It’s still an amazing miracle to me how he came to me. I believe only God is capable of miracles

I am sorry if this was harsh but I want you to know how God helped me find Bob and how grateful I am for that

Thank you. He (Bob) has truly brightened my life!

They do, don't they! I remember imagining my dog curled up against my lifeless body and my husband coming home from work to see that, when I had intrusive thoughts about committing suicide 🫣 but, I was in a bad place then. Not able to work, barely able to speak coherently, having PIP (disability benefit, UK) not granted for some bizarre reason, the MS taking everything out of me despite me taking the copaxone correctly. But, then I had a seizure emergency, spent 27 days in hospital with methylprednisolone infusions before being started on ocrevus 🙌

They sure do! So. sorry you had a very rough ride! I am glad you are doing better now and I hope things only keep getting better for you!

I understand completely as I have gone through all you’ve said too! I don’t have the Medicare benefits (US) either. I got denied 4 times! I kept trying. But have now given up on them. They truly have no idea what this is like! Truly! We can’t do stuff no matter how bad we want to!

P.S. you’re from UK? Oooo you have that dreamy accent! lol

Cwright170994 profile image
Cwright170994 in reply to Xvettech

Not ⭐️that⭐️ one, unfortunately. I come from a small town in the North West of England, but I can do ⭐️that⭐️ accent as a bit of a telephone voice or making fun of automated voices for trains and elevators 😏 if you want to listen to my voice, I've got a youtube channel where I talk about my MS journey. My username is: lottieew135

And they truly just don't understand! I hope none of their close relatives/friends find themselves in a similar situation, not being able to get help from anyone, because it's just so absolutely wrong 😒

I bet you sound awesome! I called for my daughter cause I don’t know how to find that but I can’t wait to listen! I love it so much! Your accent is probably way better than mine! Well others say I have an accent but I don’t hear it I just talk normal (imo). lol. I sound like everyone else around here. lol. So it’s normal to me :). I am from NJ so I have that “New England” thing. lol

Yes I hope so too but maybe then they’d understand what we go through!

I so agree it is wrong! We “look fine” so we are. Never mind the fact that our bodies are fighting themselves from the inside out! So you can’t see it!

Xvettech in reply to Xvettech

You say not that one- totally that one! I absolutely love it and you sound awesome to me!

Xvettech in reply to Xvettech

It’s so nice to see you’re smiling! I still have a hard time smiling! Well, Bob can make me smile. lol (even if the numbness I experience makes my smile look funny - he doesn’t mind)

Xvettech in reply to Xvettech

P.S. I wanna give you a hug! And make it all better! I know I can’t make you better, but it sounds like you’re having as much of a rough go with this as I am! I wish I was magic. lol!

Bob is my magic:). I hope you find some too!

Thank you so much everyone for watching/saving my vids ❤️😅 I hope you all feel better when you watch them. Not in a "urgh, glad I'm not her" way, but a "if she can do it, so can I!" kind of way 🫂
