๐บ๐ธThank you to your Father! I appreciate all the family, friends and communities who support service members too. My grandfather served in WWII. He encouraged me to volunteer at VA hospital as a teenager. I did and it was such a great experience I ended up in the medical field. I often say I learned more about what is important in life from talking with the men (it was the 70โs) hospitalized there than any college.
Most of their actions and reactions about situations were dealt with through humor. Sometimes they would talk about serious issues. Wonder what they would say about what is occurring in our World now.
My grandfather also advised me to say โThank you for your service โ to a person wearing a military service cap.
As it is said, โAll gave some, some gave all.โ

may they all be blessed and remembering the ones that were lost from the terrible fighting ...love to them and to the ones that are still hurting for the fighting of the wars ...my husband has had a battle since coming back from Vietnam ...many scares of the mind ...bless all of them with the loss of family and all that are still fighting it from the past and those still out there still trying to keep us safe ...a hard battle for so many....love to all ...be safe..
God bless your father, GratefulNeeC , for serving and giving us the freedom that we all enjoy. ๐
I am grateful for your dadโs service. My parents were from The Greatest Generation. My son will be entering the Air Force in January. He aspires to be a PJ. We discussed the fact that special forces have an 80% washout rate but he has the attitude that heโs going to make it. I let him know if he doesnโt make it Iโll still be proud of him! Kids hard headed !
All of my dad's family served in WWII. He had a brother and two sisters who all served. My dad was in the Philippines.
