I just went through 3 years of breast cancer . Been having this pain sharp what would be under my boob . That ribfrom sturdum . Has lesions and sharp pains . Just had my first mri in 3 years . Just got the metal spacers out so I could do mri . Is it possible Ms on ribs?

I don't want to say "no", because the pains we get vary as much as everything else related to MS, but my first instinct is that if it isn't the actual MS hug then it might not be related. I have gotten random stabbing pains in my ribs, but it's not consistent and no different than the stabs in other parts of my body. You might want to discuss this with a doctor, considering your history.

Hard thing to answer I know the MS hug is like a band around the chest just under the boobs. Like NorasMom said check with your Dr. that would be best I am praying for you Mary.

If I was in your position, I would absolutely be in touch with the doctor. MS is a brain and spine affected disease, although the pain affects the body in different ways. I’m not suggesting that it is not possible, but with your history, I would suggest you consult your physician.
