Good morning everyone itβs almost a new year π± Received deposit for SSI yesterday with the new raise ππΌ. Price of supplemental and drug coverage went up but after that itβs still about a $100. dollars more βΊοΈ Every little bit helps π€πΌ. Light snow βοΈ falling not much till tonight so they say. My buddy Hugh came over yesterday and spent probably hour and half cleaning up backyard for Rozy ππΌ Glad thatβs done before this next storm βοΈ and Rozy is too. Been a real bummer being laid up but foot π¦Ά is healing slowly, taking longer than I expected π€·ββοΈ Maybe the MS is slowing down healing process π§. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoy your day πππΌπ

Hi ken. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and the rest of our MS family.
I cAn relate to foot problems. In July I fell in our kitchen and broke my ankle in 3 places. When I got to the hospital I also had pneumonia, afib and urinary infection. After surgery I stayed in hospital for 2 weeks and 2 months of cast I finally got my right leg and foot back.
As soon as that was thru went to my ortho for a 6 hr back surgery. Rebuilt from S-1 to -t-9. From crack of my butt to Half way between my shoulder blades to my neck.
So Iβm ready for the new year cause it has to be a better one.
Donnie
Hi Kenu YES every little bit helps. Wishing everyone a very happy New Year! love to all Mary
If you want to get depressed, my mother gets not only SS but 3 gov't pensions. She got the COLA increase for all of them, and it's nearly half my monthly income.
On a better note, it's warm enough to sit outside today! I've been out several times with the dog, just enjoying the fresh air and watching the birds. You'd never know we were below zero a week ago. I was even able to turn the furnace completely off, because it's not supposed to get colder until next Thursday.
thanks Ken, yes, enjoying the Spring-like weather today. Cleaning out some old things no longer needed. Happy New Year to all.
Glad everything is well. Happy New Year to everyone and May 2023 be the best everππΎ
Love the funny! I am so glad your foot is healing, even if it is taking longer than you would like. I broke 1 bone in my left foot on May 5, wore a boot forever, lots of other attempted remedies, finally did 7 weeks of a sonogram treatment, My Orthopedic Dr. released me, on December 16, as the X- rays showed the bone was finally healed! Maybe feet are slow healers! I'm sure Rozy is happy with her back yard!
I'm praying 2023 is better! Ours was okay until things rather blew up a few days ago. Hopefully that will bring a positive solution. Happy New Year to us all!
Itβs so nice of you to send a little laughter to all of us. I look forward to seeing them. So true about every little bit helps moneywise. I hope you have a great new year.
i'm glad you're healing even if it is taking a long time and i'm glad you have a hugh. happy new year.π€
