I set my clock back last night and got my extra hour that way as I knew I would wake up early. Wish they would just leave it alone and not do the change. Out here in Idaho they say itβs so the school kids get on the bus π in daylight, but in couple weeks it will still be dark at 7:30 π€¨. I prefer more daylight at night than morning especially when I was working. How do you guys feel about daylight savings time?

Hi Ken, i do like more daylight but it takes me a while to get used to.
I love Daylight Savings Time, and I am an early riser ( usually). I was busy all day yesterday, got over- tired, and forgot all about clocks and time. Fell into my good big King Size bed, and I was out long before 9 pm..when I woke up, the clock said 7:35 and i Panicked, until I realized the rest of the US( the 2 friends who were waiting for my call to reassure them that I had made it through the night,,,) so all is well, and I will miss my early morning sunrises, but they will be back soon! Maybe I will be used to the time change by then.
I'd like DST year 'round. I've always hated Standard time, even when I was little.
I'm neither here nor there on this one. It's something I've done all my life, when I grew up I drove a truck over the road, as well as doing construction work all over the country. I've had to LIVE by whatever time zone I was in and not so much the daylight or dark. I do understand that back in the day it was so the farmers could have more daylight to harvest, or something like that? If it benefits our country, I can usually just roll with it.
I have no preference for DST or standard, either is fine with me. BUT I hate the abrupt time change twice a year. It always takes me about a week to readjust (and when I was working, it was even worse!)
π
I have no opinion really.. except I have to wait a week to adjust 2 times a year.. and yes it was worse when I worked.. the fog.. the fog... hahahaπ
I don't care which one we are on but I wish they would stay on one only & quit changing it. The time change affects how children act (or act out), pets get confused & adults, well at least for me get cranky!π€£π€£
Indiana used to not move. Then some idiot decided we had to and it started. Kick out who decided this and let's go back to staying the same!!!
yes i wish they would stop it ...a couple of states have done it...
I hate it when it is dark when I leave work. It feels like I have worked until bedtime. Plus, the deer are EVERYWHERE as I drive home in the dark. Bless their hearts, they are so stupid. I think it is just 'bow' season now in my neck of the woods. But once gun season gets here, ALL the deer are stirred up and moving around. End of rant. Sorry. π
I don't care but I wish they would pick one and leave it
It's cool to see the sunrise again, for another month π€·ββοΈ I'd rather just pick a time and stick to one than spend a month per year adjusting. Our time zone seems wrong also, but that's a different thing.
i hate it. it messes with my mum's dogs and her sleep schedule. it's true of many people and sleep disturbances can cause depression.
