today, in the States is a holiday. Maybe a hallmark holiday. I am planning to have a nice brunch with my son and his girlfriend. Happy about being invited out with them and grateful, as our relationship has been rocky at times. Thinking of all of you who are a mother, had/have a mother or are a nurturer to others, including men, and women without children. Thank you for mothering others when they needed you, including nurturing me.

Did you have a good time? I had a long time friend phone me from Canada and she sang happy Mother’s Day to the tune of happy birthday which made me smile, but then I had to tell her that our Mother’s Day was in March . Before I told her that I said it’s better late than never, utter surprise, we have been friends for 44 years and she has only just realised that our two countries celebrate it on different months. 😂🤣😂🤣. She also rang to wish me happy birthday which was a month ago, to which she replied that she forgot. Good job I love her 😂🤣
Thank you! I have had an utterly delightful day today. I heard from my kids and had a great dinner. Got some presents and some flowers too. I hope others enjoyed the day!
Happy Mother's Day! How was it? V woke me up with a nice birthday cake made out of blocks and brought me a birthday book, she was a little confused about the holiday 🤣 but we pretended to eat that block cake together, which was delicious and had many flavors 🤣🤣🤣 Mom and I made a fantastic meal of her favorite foods and it was lovely to to hear how much she enjoyed her day 🥰
