Well, sorry I’ve been absent lately. I have been having a very hard time lately. I went to my neurologist last Wednesday. Said it was time for an MRI. I have been on Aubagio for two years. I feel like it has been going well. I’m terrified the MRI will not be as good as I hope and I may have to go through the whole switching DMTs again. I hope not. I’m hoping that there might be some option besides just changing meds. MRI Monday. Seems like a long time and way too quick. Just trying to stay calm. Than you for reading. Kimberly

Hoping that your mri results match how you are feeling on your meds and that you won't have to switch meds. Keep us updated. Good luck tomorrow.

Post your results! I'm on Aubagio and have been for about 6 years. So far so good, but I, too, have been just "off" lately. Don't know if it's stress or something else. There is so much going on in this world. Perhaps that is affecting both of us.

Switching meds is not as hard or used to be. I say that that there are several new DMT's out there I have not investigated.Good luck with things.

I wish you all the best. Hopefully you can distract yourself and stay as relaxed as possible. At least there are options these days, compared to a few decades ago. I have found that labeling my feelings with extreme terms such as terrified, has made things worse over time.

Can you take a sedative to calm you before the MRI?, When I have mine they put a visor thing on me & I watch TV. I will be praying for you!

Hi KPhoenix I was on Aubagio for a few years. Eventually I had a (digestive issue) That’s been my problem way before I was diagnosed. My MRI did NOT change when on Aubagio. As you know alldmt’s can cause issues. It’s a gamble. I have ,not been on any DMT’s since coming off.

My symptoms are about the same but not significantly worse. I will pray for your peace and think of you. QueenAM
