for dizziness move much more slowly. When you get up stop wait hold onto something first then move, the body shakes I do not know.

MS is a Bitch, that you fight alone, but you choose when you fight and how you fight

How do you deal with it? I’m not sure if I have MS, although I do experience some of the symptoms want to get checked out but I can’t afford to see a neurologist

You say you can't afford a neurologist. If you have insurance or national health care, you can see a neurologist. If you need help paying for tests, there are resources to help. You should start with your primary care doctor. But without a diagnosis of MS, we can't know whether or not your shakes are due to MS or some other cause.

I don’t have insurance and I’m not working rn cause I’m currently a college student & I have been to many doctors even went to the hospital but they don’t take me seriously.

I hope your neurologist is aware of this, especially if these are new symptoms.

The last time I had those symptoms it indicated an infection in my body somewhere. Anything between a common cold and a uti will show up on me with that type of baggage. Best to communicate w/ the doc. Put the ball in his court.

I don’t think it’s an infection since I’ve been to many doctors and they cant figure it even went to the hospital and they were no help.

I’m sorry, Stephxo2217 it’s horrible.

I deal with this all the time and knock myself off my feet regularly. Im black and blue. I’m convinced I have MSA not MS tbh

Ride it out and hope it passes and yes speak to your neurologist or MS nurse, mine said take amantadine twice a day.....

The symptoms you mention also sound like low blood sugar.

I’ve been having these symptoms for about ten months it all started with me shaking to the point where I couldn’t stand then it started to effect my eye specifically my eyelid shaking as well as other symptoms so I don’t think it has to do with my sugar.

Ah the eyelid shaking, makes us look like twitchy drug addicts. Actually lost a teaching job because of that lovely shake. Stay off coffee it makes it more active, and as I said the inderal works wonders

I experienced body shakes about a month ago. I thought it had been a reaction to my Ocrevus infusion, but it turned out I had a UTI. I didn't have any symptoms of a UTI so you may want to get a test. Hope this helps!

I’m meant to start ocrevus next week how are you finding it?

Sezlatham profile image

Body shakes are tremors, I’m on inderal which helps slow them

I have them everywhere specially my eyelids and through out my body they can be so uncomfortable especially when I’m trying to sleep

Ah I take half a rendering at night that helps me sleep trough the shakes. Have been doing it for years and it is the best with not side effects of drowsiness in the morning. Today’s a different story woke shaking dropped my cereal bowl which is new but I’m guessing it’s the stupid steroids, off for another dose, oh the joy of it , lol . Was reading everyone’s post last night about being 60 kg as a safe number to start orvecus but I’m 75 on the scale this morning. Since I’m starting it next Monday, don’t think I can manage to lose 15 kg in 5 days lol. Wishful thinking the steroids alone have made me gain a kilo a day this week grrr
