I hope you get to celebrate it with family and friends. Here in the U.K. it’s a big disappointment to the Jewish community as we are restricted to only 6 people gathering, but Happy New Year to you 🥳
Gatherings are restricted here as well but we do the best we can. My brother is coming to visit next month and we are going to plan our trip to England! So excited 😆. Hope we’ll be allowed in by then! If the vaccine pans out it should be a game changer! Fingers crossed 🤞!

Well, in one week we found out that my husband needs a pacemaker which he is having placed on Thursday as an outpatient; no overnight stays except for emergencies because of COVID. We also found out that his breathing problems are being caused by a partial paralyzed esophagus caused by his stroke ; he is aspirating solids and liquids into his lungs. I fell flat on my face and bruised my skull, broke my nose and gave myself a concussion. On top of all this, we lost the second of our two beloved rescue pit bulls. We are trying to recover from the week from hell. Good news is that I believe the OCREVUS is starting to help. If I could only stay upright....And how are you doing in this brave new world, my friend?
You are right to call it the week from hell. I am so sorry for everything that your husband is suffering from, it must be really hard for you both, and how are you after your fall. You certainly went with a bang. I hope they have xrayed your nose to make sure there are no floaters of broken bones. Good news on the Ocrevus front, well, I will pray your hubby is in good hands Thursday and that you heal quickly. Keep in touch when you have time and let us know how you both are doing. In the meantime, stop kissing the floor. 🤗 🍫 💐
When I was in law school this guy would call me Rosh Hashana more like yell. If someone asked him my name he would tell them that. I would tell people my correct name. I went 3 long years dealing with him. When people asked why he would call me that he would say because my name was close too it which it's not.
10 years I run into him when I was walking back to my office, I was polite. He gave me his business card and told me to call. That never happened
Just when I thought I would never see him again I saw him 4yrs ago. We both discipline attorneys who have been reported to the bar. The way I found out that he was a hearing officer was because I was asked to chair his group because there was a no show who happened to be him . He showed just as the hearing was to start

what pushed me over the edge was when we were supposed to be in a study group with this other female. When we were supposed to be going over everything for a final that we were to have a couple days later, but the 2 of them wanted to argue with me about my notes saying they were wrong come to find out they never went to class and they were trying to get me to give them my notes so they could copy them. I was so mad that I walked out and went home without putting on my coat and shoes in freezing cold of Madison, Wisconsin in the middle of Dec.
The female we were good friends till she did that. People would call her me and vis versa because are names were so close. Plus the two of them were dating at the time. There was four of us that used to hang out together. The fourth person who hung out with us just stopped being around and when I asked him why he told me you'll find out but I just can't tell you, you need to come to that conclusion on your own.
Only if your comfortable answering, I am so very curious about the outcome of the final y'all were studying for?
The second question i have is, were you excused from service when he decided to show at the very last?
The last curiousity I have is have you come to the conclusion on the distancing of the 4th? Not necessarily detailes, have you found your answer to that?
we were studying contract law we had the same teacher just at different time of the day. I had all morning classes they liked to go to the evening classes
no I stayed the lead hearing officer for the case. The attorney had agreed b4 hand to give up his license so the case was just to formalized the agreement
The 4th person he left them for the same reason for another class that they had together. He eventually got married while in school so that ended the two of us hanging out and 5yrs after graduation he became a preacher of his own church , I read about it in the newspaper

actually they didn't. I didn't have far to go. I went to the guy apartment I was dating which was a half a block away

I am not Jewish but found a yummy sounding recipe for challah. I'm not much of a cook but it didn't sound awfully difficult. With part of my kitchen gone, all I have to do is figure out where to do it! Maybe the table. My 32 year old fridge died and to fit in the new one, white is wider, we ripped out the first batch of cupboards. Hopefully early next year we will be tearing out this butt-ugly kitchen and re-doing it. The last really big project in this house! The rest are little things. But then I will have more counter space to try things.
