If you have a Tysabri infusion coming up what are you wearing, mask, a layer to strip off and put in a garbage bag before you ride home?

I would call the infusion center or your doctor to see what they suggest. Protocols seem to be always changing

I wish you well with your infusion.

There are a few of us. We try to help folks find resources through MSAA, alert members about upcoming webinars, etc., and welcome new members.

Unless you're wearing an N95 mask, and have been trained to use it, a mask probably won't protect you. On the other hand, the people giving you the infusion should be wearing a surgical-type mask (designed to protect others...not the user) and using gloves. I'm not a healthcare professional, just someone who had Tysabri infusions for 7 years and, more recently, Lemtrada.

Hope all goes (or went) well.
