Today I took my first days pills of cycle 2. No problems so far. I took my pills at 10am and last time I got that nasty taste within an hour after taking them so far no nasty taste. Yippee!!! I am hydrating like crazy. I am with another group that is all for people taking or about to take Mavenclad and all most all of them say staying hydrated is key to this medicine. I feel fine and can't wait till this cycle is over then we wait for year 2. You all take care. Will let you know how tomorrow goes

Thank you for the update, it’s good you can associate with others that are taking the mavenclad, at least you will hopefully get the support. I hope that it works for you, taking a tablet is much easier than an infusion. Blessings Jimeka 🤗

Thank you. It is nice to talk to others that are going through the same thing. I didn't like the idea of the infusions since it takes more then 1 stick to start an iv or draw blood. I donated blood before I started the mavenclad and they had to dig around to find my vein that was not pleasant. If I have any problems after I am done with this medication I will just treat my symptoms and do what ever natural treatments that are out there. Not everything is better by chemistry that's my belief now. You have a great day

Thank you for posting your words that 'not everything is better by chemistry'... I thought I was the only one out here that feels that way. It's good to know someone else feels that way too :) Please keep us posted on how the Mavenclad is going for you.

May I ask your age? My neurologist offered Mavenclad as a treatment option to consider but, I’m 74 years old.

I am 62 and I have take 5 other medications before this. My first medication was way back in 1994 stopped that after about a year. Then nothing till 2002 was on Copaxone for 16 years stopped that a year and a half ago then the other 3 before starting mavenclad. I hope this helps you decide what to do. I also want to let you know that I am doing pretty good not a lot of problems from the MS. I wish you well and my prayers are with you
