Some days I lose hope when I’m frustrated, angry, sad, worried with whatever life throws at me and it’s not always due to MS. Then I look outside at the beautiful birds and I’m instantly reminded there is always HOPE.
Hope this helps you today! Nikki

I have to admit for the past year I was running on the notion of what's the point . My drive and desire I had to get up workout to push myself was gone after my exacerbation (I couldn't walk for 2 wks). I was just going through the motions. I was getting up going to pt, listening to people say you're doing really great but in the back of my mind I was like what's the point what's going to happen to me next? Yes, I was knocking my own self down in my mind.
Then out of the blue I snapped out of it I don't know why, I just did. I'm great at giving people hope and confidence in the time of turmoil and crisis because I've been trained to do that in my profession as an attorney.
Hope finally slapped me back into really and told me to get myself together the pity party for one needs to end now!
Yes I can relate. I have gotten to that point several times in my 6 years of having MS and dealing with relapses. Eventually, I got so tired of feeling hopeless and depressed and staring at the ceiling everyday, that I said to myself I need to do something different now, because if I don’t, I will still be in the same dark place. It’s very hard to make that first step and it took all my might and strength to reach out for help or do whatever I need to do to feel better emotionally. But the more days I work on a positive change, the easier it gets.
Thanks for sharing, what a lovely thought. I want everybody to remember that we each have our own unique "birds" that stimulate us to remember there's always hope. Find your unique item that quietly lends you strength and Hope and surround yourself with it to remind you of both of those. When all else fails come and talk to us and will lend you the support you need to find your hope from whatever Source helps you to find it.🤗😁 Sometimes all it takes is a friendly smile and someone who understands to remind you to never give up hope and to find your root source of it Fancy.
yes there is always hope all we have to do like you said look outside and listen to the birds sing....there is always hope for all of us ..just have to think like your in a good journey and you can make something to make you happy or just think about something that you enjoy or call a friend or a neighbor ....having some wonderful time spent talking to others help and to laugh about something that you have down in the past or just watch all of the animals outside ...life is beautiful if you let it in to your heart ....laugh and smile to others for they may have something even worse going on in their life ....smile at all you see and pass can make their day so much nicer ...
Thanks for sharing. Yes, there is always HOPE, even in the deepest darkest hole. Hope is in your heart, all you have to do is pull it out and look at it. Your example of looking out the window at the birds is pulling HOPE out where you can see it. If you don't have a window to look out then you can also pray and HOPE will be where you can see it.
