My doctor took me off Tecfidera about a month before I started Ocrevus.

I kept up my Copaxone schedule until I got the infusion, so technically I was covered by both for a few weeks.

I had a six week was out after Gilenya to build my lymphocytes back up before starting Ocrevus.

I had about a 6 week delay because of the insurance and applying for extra help from the drug company, but you can stay on most of the DMT's right up until the infusion. I have had my 2nd full dose and doing great with no side effects & most MS symptoms are now gone or very minimal.

Don’t you just love insurance . Those aholes

Of course, I love insurance companies, NOT! Why they can sit in an office and try to determine what you need for your health rather than following the doctor's orders is beyond me. A doctor spent a few more years in college and then a few years in training than most of them in the insurance offices.

I had a six week washout period between my last Tysabri infusion and my first Ocrevus infusion.

Like Corran731 , my neurologist took me off of Tecfidera about 30 days prior to my Ocrevus infusion. That was in February 2018. Ocrevus is doing wonders for me, and I hope that it does the same for you, Wnmaddox123 :-D

Awesome . Thank you . My Neuro said I should stop 2 weeks before but I stopped 3 weeks prior to infusion bc I just hate the tecfidera

I too, didn't like Tecfidera. When it came time to refill my Tecfidera, I didn't. That was about 6 weeks prior to my first Ocrevus infusion. I noticed that when I wasn't taking Tecfidera, my mood improved. I haven't regretted changing my DMT to Ocrevus. :-D
