No infection ☹️ Which really kinda bummed me out. As I was really hoping.🤣 Antibiotic, easy peasy, and get rid of of this! 😔
Still exhausted 😴 and a couch potato! My right leg has decided to do what it wants to do! Which is to not really support me for very long. And is very annoying. It also jerks alot. Dance on leg dance on! NOT! 🤣
Thank Goodness I see my Neuro Monday!
How is everyone??
🤗💕

Yes, having that appointment with your neurologist can help ease your mind. Unfortunately with MS it’s never that simple. Answers you get, but they may not be in the direction you expected. Or it may be jut as simple as weather. Oh the joys of not knowing until appointments with experts or lab work!
I really, and sincerely hope peace, and restful sleep is brought your way!
(Side note, a drug that has brought me VERY restful sleep & the doctor I worked for started prescribing it to his other patients when he saw how it worked for me - too many of the patients were misusing drugs (even selling their own elderly parents’ much needed medication) so he was on the lookout for alternative medicine medication to controlled medication- which some sleeping prescribed drugs are. Trazodone I get it in one dose that comes in a 2 doses that will do the job for me, usually (I say as I type at 4:15 in the morning) It originally was a psychotropic drug but now has been recognized as useful for other treatments such as needed sleep. But with this medication if you aren’t going straight to bed literally if you have little things to do, do them. If take this med, start to feel drowsy & then think something you have to do & quickly do. If suddenly you feel awake, that is the medication kicking you for not staying in bed. Been there, done that.
Yikes, have been on trazadone before. Scary stuff for me. The vet actually gave it to my dog. And I won't give it to him! Right now sleeping isn't an issue, it's the staying awake and focusing on anything. When my neuro called, he had me write a sentence, and he kept talking. I burst into tears. Cause I couldn't concentrate. And then I have to explain its not depression. It's cause he wouldn't shut up. He loves me! 😔🤣🤗💕🌠
It’s so nice when they care. I was put on Provigil (modafinil)to keep me awake during the day but when that started wearing off I started to take a little extra until I could get in to see my Neuro at that time (I didn’t like him & so I avoided seeing him until it was absolutely necessary) but because of my self medication, I ruined coffee, tea, Pepsi. I now fall asleep drinking these even if I’m on my 3rd or 4th cup of the afternoon/evening. Even the upper doesn’t work.😢 I’m a sister couch potato, but can get a couple things done in bursts.
Sorry you had such a bad experience with trazodone. I guess our bodies react differently to drugs in all cases.
My warning to you in this case: when he finds you something that works, don’t up the dosage when it starts to become not as effective. Express your concern as early as you notice it because he may be able suggest other things, newer things. Hope this morning goes well!
Hopefully your neurologist can help determine what's going on with you. It's frustrating scarey and obviously very tiring on you. I have tremors with my MS. I have had them since my severe exacerbation. They wanted me to take a Parkenings medication daily. I was too scared so I didn't. The tremors are not as frequent now a days except when I get exhausted. Then look OUT I look like a jumping fish. I just have to sit relax and go to bed. They stop in my sleep just like Michael J Fox's do when he's sleeping.
Anyways not a fun time you are having especially with your extreme fatigue or MS fatigue. That was soooo scarey for me in the beginning because mine lasted soooo long. I thought I'd never have any energy again.
My prayers go out to you to get feeling BETTER.❤becky
Jesmcd2 Thank you for the update, But not for the news that you're still experiencing things that ail you. Happy that you are seeing your neurologist tomorrow and hoping that he will have some resolution that will help you. Let us know how it went.
