Does anybody use a tens unit for spasticity? If so, do you find it effective?

It works great if you place the pads in correct location

Yeah, Roy is right about that, 👍I use it on massage, low frequency. It feels better too, & works, sometimes I put it on low strengthen for muscles too, bought one off Amazon for $30, you should give it a try. 💗💐👍😀Rileymom.

Luv ya! 🐾🐈😻😸😺 Jazzy🌹💜

I like using the tens when I have a certain area that needs to relax. Beats meds!

I love my T.E.N.S. unit. It has been working well for 25 years and does relieve the spasticity possibly by disallowing it to happen. I put the pads where I think the nerves affecting the area where the muscles are giving me fits and are exiting the spinal cord on both sides of the spinal cord. It only doesn't work when I think I'm better at this than I am and don't put the TENS unit on. Gads.

VERY. It’s like it interrupts and confuses the “bad” electrical signals that are going to my muscles to send them into spasm. It gets in the way of those messages and they stop! Definitely try it, there is no harm in it and it’s not very expensive.
