Iβm just finishing Ladder to the Sky by John Boyne (also wrote boy in striped pajamas). Itβs a convoluted story about a writer that plagiarizes but very well written.
I'm currently reading "It's My Country Too Women's Military Stories fro the American Revolution to Afghanistan" edited by Jerri Bell and Tracy Crow. I'm about a quarter of the way into it. So far it's really good.
My back has been hurting on and off today. I have the heating pad on (even though my MS doesn't tollerate heat) but it seems to be helping. When I sit down and stand up to walk into another room, it hurts to walk. Like my back is trying to tell me to lay down. Sooooo I'm thinking "NATIONAL STAY IN BED READING DAY" is a GRRRREAT idea! ππβ€π·
I am so sorry your back is bothering you. When it hurts, it seems like everything hurts! Praying you get some relief. So stay in jammies, grab a book and heating pad and enjoy! Love, Kelly
