Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself and share a little about myself and share a l little of my health background. I am few weeks shy of 35 y/o wife to a great husband and mother to our beautiful 8 y/o daughter. I am 18 years into my MS journey after being diagnosed at just 17. After that few years later and couple neurologist later it was again suggested to have lumbar puncture done. When first diagnosed, it was suggested but my Dad felt it was not necessary since neuro said my lesions were the classic MS lesions and she was sure. Now about 5 years later and 2 years after the passing of my Dad I decided to proceed. This test revealed both that I had no "MS" in spinal fluid but I have lymes. At first was glad "This can easily be treated, maybe I was misdiagnosed" but wasn't the case. I have MS and lymes. Yay me! (Btw have sarcastic personalityπ). Next I had to treat this and BAM oh... I'm pregnant now. So was treated with 28 day Z-Pak like tx. Now 7.5 years later just several months ago was diagnosed with incidental finding of 8.5 mm cerebral brain aneurysm. I was admitted to Jefferson following week and treated (thank God for modern technology) with a flow diversion stent. Have follow up this month to check on progress. Fingers crossed. Oh lastly for MS over the 18 years I've done just about every injectable DMT and found out few months ago I was 20 years out of being wheel chair bound and disease was becoming more aggressive so I am about 2 months post my first Lemtrada infusion treatment, again fingers crossed! π So that's about it, my health history story in a nutshell.

Welcome to this wonderful group of friends BabygirlGiulianna , sorry for the reason. You really have been through it. I hope that the new drug works for you, please keep us updated when you can. Sorry to hear about a brain aneurysm, glad they caught it in time though.
I'm Jessie and I have had MS since 2006 when I was diagnosed after the blurred vision sent me for all kinds of testing. The lumbar puncture was the confirmation of the dx. Bad case of the flu sent me into a bad relapse in 2008 and put me in the hospital. I can no longer work because of dizziness that I always have..some days are worse than others.
Look forward to getting to know you,
Jessie

Awww thank you, she is a sweetheart! Yes my aneurysm was found in my yearly MRIπ². Thank God! Have to admit that was the one time in 18 years I was grateful to have had MS. I handled the Lemtrada really well, was scary at first but guess you can say that goes with most things the days! The hardest part for me was being somewhat isolated with an even more compromised immune system, I'm too social and outgoing to be forced to not be out and about lol. Other than that though it's kinda exciting if it'll be what it's suppose to be.

Welcome to the group. Your family is adorable in matching jammies!π with a sarcastic attitude you'll get along really well with everyone here. Some of us are a little more sarcastic than others. But we get along well. We know what everyone is going through because we're all walking the same path just in slightly different shoes. Nature of the MS beast...no one's MS is exactly the same.
Hey BabygirlGuilianna,
Welcome to this forum! I appreciate knowing a little about yourself and you have been through a lot. I love the photo as well.
This forum has given me a resource to discover that I am not alone in this. MS does affect each and every one of us the same and differently. All approach this ms the same and differently. And that is where we all help each other.
Keep smiling,
Carole
Welcome to our warm group of fighters! Always feel free to express and ask questions.l
