I just joined this group a short time ago, and you’ve let me rant and complain about my struggles with this damn disease.
I want to thank all of you for the feedback and words of encouragement. It really helps. It also helps to know that there are more people dealing with this that truly understand the pains and heartaches associated with it.
I’ll post some more pics of the guitars that I build and I hope it will help people know that we can still “do things” even if it takes a lot more time. ( I’m still coming to terms with that BTW)
This guitar is one that I painted with an airbrush ( left handed???) it was a difficult task, but it can be done.
It plays real good too!

That looks great 👍. The snake 🐍 is cool 😎. I was a right hander till MS hit twenty three years ago and had to learn everything left handed since 😡. It’s tough, but I have adjusted and got thru it👍. Frustrating but I at least have my left hand 👍🙏. Hang in there and stay positive 🙏🐾 Ken
YVW, Craig we totally understand & are there for you, no matter what, & i love your guitars! Yep, it's awesum we can still do what we all love, it will just take more time! Love ya bro!😎🐈😂
awesome! To take from nothing, and make something that will benefit so many ears in the future, is such a wonderful talent to have. I have often wished to have such talent. I spent most of my life dealing with MS and went undx'd [undiagnosed] till 2007 with SPMS. Now that I have known about the MS [and accompanying diseases] I quit trying to come to terms with it. I don't think I'll ever be able accept what this MONSTER has taken from me. I have just put it aside and choose to focus on other things. You have wonderful talent, right handed or not. Please keep in mind; Being left handed will keep you in your right mind. {yes, I am a south-paw and yet depressed} be good to yourself ~terry
Your talents go far deeper than MS and it’s problems. What you’ve shared, both in venting and with your triumphs, is so encouraging and is the foundation for this this marvelous group.
It’s a temptation to focus on what MS takes away, and though we can’t deny its effects, you’re telling the whole story — the one filled with triumphs.
My trimmers ended up getting pretty bad to where I say couldn't play well and it was very frustrating when you try to pluck one string and ended up getting another. I used to try and play the beginning of Metallica song nothing else matters and play a little bit of Remember When.
Oh I have done that before and some of the things I sent out either is so much different than what I have said or it will say bad words and I have to back step really fast so that people don't think I meant to say those things.
