Down another week

Out of work for another week. Had my cardiac mri this morning confirming the myocarditis. It’s mild which is good but still healing from it and being a single mom doesn’t help. Her dad’s around but not very helpful. Last night thought I was gonna have to go back to the hospital. Several burning sensation on my spine between shoulder blades radiating to the front. Pain shot down my spine when I lowered my head. I tried ice to see if it’d help and it calmed it down a little bit. Spoke with my ms nurse and doctor wanted me to check with cardiologist to see if this could be from the myocarditis. Which she doesn’t think so so blood work in the morning and if that’s normal and still have the sensation he’ll order an mri of my brain and neck. Cardiologist did put me back on a medication that I was taking in the hospital to try and help the edema of the myocardial wall. She said that it may help whatever is going on with my spine because it’s an anti inflammatory. Follow up with cardiologist next Friday to see if I can go back to work. 🤞🏼 I just want to start feeling better and not be in pain.

I have a similar pain that radiates across my left shoulder and shoots down my left arm, up into left side of my neck and into my cheek. They reckon mine is a trapped nerve so I am awaiting a MRI. What I am trying to suggest is wait until you have your MRI , it maybe something rectify able. Don't give up hope. I know the pain can wear you down, and I hope and pray that you can get back to work soon. In the meantime try and enjoy the time off with your child. They grow up so quick, blessings Jimeka 🙏 🦋 🤗 🍫

Nvprp21 ... I'm so sorry you dealing with all that you are. I was a single Mom when I was diagnosed with MS and had to raise my daughter with minute support from her not helpful father so I sympathize with your situation. It can add to the stress of being sick but try not to let it. I know that is easier said than done. {{{hugs}}}
