My Amarylis

My pretty flower doesn't know it's not Christmas or Easter. It's wonderful whenever it Blooms. This year it has 5 stalks with 4 flowers on each stalk. Flowers are about 6" across.

WOW! You have such beautiful blooms on your Amarylis! How did you get so many gorgeous blossoms?

My mom gets one every year for Christmas and sadly every year the stalk snaps just after one blossom. She's come to bringing the stalk(s) downstairs where it's much cooler and plans to try again.

I bought 2 plants on 2 different Christmas's, tried to get them to bloom at Christmas & when that didn't work just put the bulbs into planter by front door. I just water regularly and these blooms are my reward. They are 4 & 5 yrs old. Thanks💐

I just put them in a planter on the front porch. They get morning to mid-day sun and bloom on their own schedule. They are 4-5 yrs old and this year the 2 bulbs have multiple stalks with flowers 🌺 thanks

They only bloom once a year so it is special
