Thank you all for your posts and concerns with my neuropathy in my feet. I will certainly try some of your "helps" to see which one may help me. I need to consult my MD again. I am becoming so tired, I feel like I am going to collapse. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Kath

We will keep praying that you find answers and help. Hang in there!
Hello Kath55 it's MSFighter welcoming you to this wonderful chat room! My mother had severe neuropathy the last 20 years of her life. I always blamed it on the fact that she wore flip-flops with no arch support. So I have always protected my feet by wearing a good shoe with support. Even if it's my older versions that I use around the farm I do not run around in shoes with no arch support. On top of that I am on a drug called Mirapex. Well actually I'm on the generic alternative of Mirapex. When my feet start acting up with the buggy feeling crawling up and down my leg, and the tingling and somewhat painful streaks of feeling. The sensations make my leg hard to hold still because they want to move trying to relieve of the discomfort.
Next time you visit your neurologist or even your family Dr. Tell them what's going on with your legs and asked if you could possibly have restless leg syndrome. That's not as bad as neuropathy but that's what I have in the leg still bother you a lot. And see if they'll try put you on the generic mirapex to see if it works. It's worth a try. Glad that you have come to the chat room. We look forward to talking to you soon. Please let me know if you get on mirapex generic form and if it works. I want you to remember one thing and that is Kath that is together we are stronger.

Thank you so very much !
